Married Richard Lewis in 1963. Married Terry Pridmore in 1997.
As well as teaching, Elizabeth founded the Eastbourne Choral Society, directing it for ten years, building it into one of the most adventurous musical organisations in Sussex. In her last two years as director she presented Mendelssohn's 'Elijah' in dramatised form, and later, Bach's 'St. Matthew Passion' also dramatised, to great acclaim, using international soloists, a London orchestra, and combining her choir with the, then, Ditchling Choral Society.
She runs a speaking agency providing top class speakers to lunch and dinner clubs - 'The Easy Speak Lecture Agency'. (

In 1993 she founded the Eastbourne Camerata - a musical organisation that presents top musicians in concert.

Elizabeth's father was Fyfe Robertson, the well known writer and television reporter. Her sister is Grace Robertson OBE, well known photographer.
Her brother-in-law is Thurston Hopkins, also a well known photographer. All three worked for Picture Post.
