Joseph won the Miriam Jenkins
Entrance Scholarship in 2003 to study with Malcolm Martineau and Michael
Dussek at the Royal Academy of Music. He graduated in 2002 with a First
Class honours degree from the University of Birmingham and he later
gained an MPhil at the University having won both the Concerto and Conducting
prizes.
He has appeared at festivals throughout Europe and in addition accompanied
for the finals of the Royal Oveerseas League Competion and at the Wigmore
Hall for the Suggia Prize. As a pianist of the Lichnowsky Piano Trio,
he was recently selected to represent the UK in the European Prize for
Piano Trio 2003 in which they took second prize. In 2003 he was admitted
as a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music and he has recently taken
up the post of Director of Music in St Andrew's parish church, Bedford.
He will continue his studies at the Academy next year.
