Between 1948 and 1979 Richard Lewis featured in some 97 recordings including, arguably one of his most famous and enduring, the 1964 recording of Elgar's Dream of Gerontius with Janet Baker, the Halle Orchestra and Choir conducted by Sir John Barbarolli.
