This year's award winners gather at Paul Grant and Shiori Hosoda recital

An amazing recital featuring Poulenc, Britten and Loewe was held at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) on Wednesday 1st May performed the two winners from last year’s Jean Shanks/Richards Lewis Trust Award competition.

2018 award winner Baritone Paul Grant and the Webb Piano prize winner Shiori Hosoda performed 19 pieces by the three composers in the RAM’s 120-seat David Josefowitz Recital Hall hall at 7pm during a public performance.

This year’s winners were also in attendance including the winner mezzo-soprano Yuki Akamoto, 2nd price winner Michael Ronan, song prize mezzo-soprano Bernadette Johns and Webb prize winner Benjamin Mead.
